By being involved at every operating level in the country of origin, CBI ensures increased efficiency and improved quality, resulting in higher margins for growers, processors, and purchasers. We begin by working with growers to improve quality and standards at the plantation level. Next, we work with processors to improve milling and handling techniques to arrive at the highest quality coffees available. In some locations, CBI owns or invests in processing facilities, further collapsing the number of market channel participants to increase efficiency. We handle export functions for all of our locations, and market the coffees to importers and roasters. As a result, we can offer the highest-quality, dependable, sourced coffees at the best prices.
